About MRCOG-1 Examination
The MRCOG (Membership of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists) is the gold standard for international qualification in obstetrics and gynaecology. The MRCOG examination is conducted by Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) which is a UK-based international organisation comprising of over 14,000 fellows and members worldwide. More than 6,000 obstetricians and gynaecologists of RCOG are working in over 100 countries. This examination consists of three parts and membership is awarded to those who have passed all three parts. From 2018, the MRCOG part 1 examination will be conducted in the month of January and July. Earlier it was conducted in the months of March and September. The examination consists of two papers, each comprising of 100 SBAs, with each paper lasting for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
